Mediterranean Romantic Suspense: Reissues

Before I started writing historical romance, I published romantic suspense in the UK. These are tougher books than my recent historicals, but all still contain a strong element of romance threaded through the mayhem and are now reissued for the first time as ebooks.

One, Chasing Rachel, is set on Dartmoor in England, but the rest are, like my romantic suspense title Palace of the Fountains and my light novellas A Secret Treasure and Holiday in Bologna, set in the sunny Mediterranean.

Italy is the setting for Voices in the Dark. Julia Rochfort and Roberto Padovano meet in Florence, where Julia is singing in an opera competition. They discover that they share a past, but the secrets they reveal - buried deep in the Italy of World War II - put them in mortal danger.

In Night of the Storm, photographer Melissa Haye travels to Rhodes in the Greek islands to invesitage the death of her lover, Andrew. She is drawn into a web of intrigue and danger as she uncovers a wildlife trafficking operation run from a tiny island off the Turkish coast.

Greece is also the setting for The English Daughter, in which Val Baker, a musical instrument restorer, visits Corfu for an assignment and is caught up in family secrets arising from the murder of a tourist ten years earlier.
